Hi, I’m Darlene!
I started Good Measure Consulting in April of 2024 to support a new small business owner start her journey as a food entrepreneur. Before consulting, I worked all over the country with large and small businesses comprising of agribusiness, farmer’s markets, produce wholesalers, food distributors, event caterers, cafe restaurants, boutique retailers, and supermarket grocers. With my 10+ years of experience operating businesses throughout the food chain, I clients with the following:
writing a business plan
model labor budgets in scheduling software
draft menus with ingredient cost analysis
write standard operating procedures and employee training manuals
revise production plans and workstation flows to minimize labor and food waste
onboard and negotiate with product/service vendors
build retail displays and merchandising layouts with planograms
analyze reports to maintain inventory and stock levels
onboard or retool the point-of-sale system database
